My name is Gianmaria, and I am a tennis player turned into creative leader. I bring my racquets everywhere!
Born within the walls of Wieden+Kennedy Portland’s office, I have helped brands and agencies build award-winning creative teams that operate and think outside of the box.
My goal is to make work in the now, following a new set of rules - to help brands create culture.
I currently lead the entire creative business for White Claw at newly established agency VCCP US - including the newly built VCCP Social & Culture division - along with the creative for all the beverage brands part of the Mark Anthony Brands International portfolio.
I previously led the brand creative in-house for Lyft, where I also opened the first ever Lyft Entertainment and Pop Culture Studio.
I’m committed to diversity and inclusion. And as an advocate I'm determined to bring a spotlight to the LGBTQ+ community and all marginalized communities through my work.
I am an early investor and Executive Creative Director for Racquet Mag, a new quarterly magazine and media outlet that celebrates the art, ideas, style and culture that surround tennis.
My work has been internationally recognized by advertising, film, and design annuals and awards including Clio, One Show, Cannes Lions and The Webby's. In 2022 I was recognized as one of Ad Age’s 40 Under 40 leaders in Marketing and Media. In 2016 I was selected as one of the 30 Under 30 Most Creative People In Advertising.
